STANDING COMMITTEE - The next meeting is this Tuesday 31st August at 7.30pm in church. Any items for the agenda for PCC need to be given in writing.
CHOIR PRACTICE AND VESTRY HOUR - These resume on Friday evening this week.
CONFIRMATION CLASSES - A reminder that these will begin on Saturday 11th September at 11.00am in church.
EATING DAY - Jill is holding this on 12th September. Tickets remain at the bargain price of £7 for adults and £3.50 for children under 12. Please see menu on notice board.
FLOWER FESTIVAL - DVDs of the Flower Festival are available at £5 each. Please sign the list in the porch if you-wish to order. Thank you Mick for producing them.
SICK VISITING - If you put a name of someone who is sick on the intercessions list and they require a visit, (from either clergy or lay people), please let Fr Brian or one of the Churchwardens know their details so this can be arranged. Thank you.
HARVEST LUNCH - This year it will be a Bring and Share lunch at St Thomas Meeting House from 12.30pm on 3rd October. The cost of £1.50 includes a raffle. Children 12 and under go free!
SHOPPING TRIP - A coach trip is planned for Portsmouth on 23rd October. The historic dockyard is 5mins away from the shopping outlet. Cost £15. Depart Sam, leave Portsmouth 5pm. See Hilary or Linda for tickets.
