WANTED - CHURCH SAVERS –The new savings club has just begun so now is the time to join if you have not saved before! Your weekly savings are returned to you at the end of the year but the interest gained on them goes towards Church Restoration. Please see Beryl Morton for more details.
REMINDER - WINTER FAYRE – This will be in church on 28th November. Stalls will include Tombola, Cakes, and ‘As New’ (toiletries, jewellery, stationery etc). We need to fundraise for urgent repairs. Please sign the list at the back of the church with your offer of help in setting up, manning stalls, refreshments, clearing away etc. Thank you in anticipation.
ADVENT EVENSONG – This will be held on 29th November at 6.00pm. Please support this service at the beginning of the run up to Christmas. There will be refreshments following the service.
FRIDAY EVENING 6.00PM MASS AT ALL SAINTS – Starting on Friday 4th December a simple said Holy Communion service will be held in church.
HARVEST FESTIVAL – A total of £288 was raised for the Bishop of St Alban’s Harvest Appeal ‘Give water for life!’ Thanks to all.
CAROL SERVICES – A reminder that the Town Mayor’s carol Service, which is open to the congregation, will be held at 4pm on Saturday 5th December and the Parish Carol Service, which will be followed by refreshments, will be on Sunday 20th December. Everyone is welcome!
