The All Saints’ Church Choir entered into the Festive spirit and visited a number of the local hostelries, the Fancott Arms, the Star at Chalton, the Plough at Wingfield and the Kings Arms in Houghton Regis, to sing the traditional Christmas Carols and to raise funds for the Church. They were aided and assisted by their more than welcome helpers and thanks to the generosity of the local Publicans and their customers the total amount of monies raised was £102.
In addition the Choir where requested to sing at a private party held at Sewell Manor and for this they received a donation towards the Church Funds of £100.
